Ooooooh Big Stretch is our playful movement series where community, connection, and puppies come together.

Every class is a fundraiser for Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, helping provide the care, medical treatment, and second chances that rescue puppies need while bringing our community together through movement.

From our signature Puppy Yoga to strength-based Bark & Burn, every 45-minute class is led by a certified instructor and filled with rescue puppies roaming, snuggling, and stretching right alongside you.

Expect feel-good movement, lots of laughter, and those sweet “oooooh big stretch” moments. Whether you’re flowing through yoga, holding a plank with puppy kisses, or simply soaking up the joy, you’re helping rescue puppies every time you join us.

Whether you want to join a public class or plan a private Puppy Yoga experience for your team, friends, family, or community group, we’d love to have you.

However you join us, you’ll be moving, laughing, making memories, and helping rescue puppies along the way.

Puppy yoga

Puppy Yoga is a fun, beginner-friendly yoga class where playful, adoptable puppies roam freely as you flow. Expect gentle movement, lots of laughter, and plenty of puppy cuddles. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just showing up for the puppies (we get it!), everyone is welcome.

Bark & Burn

Bark & Burn is a playful bodyweight-based strength class designed to explore new ways of moving alongside our favorite four-legged friends.  Open to all levels, our focus is on fun and functional movement, with creative ways to move, stretch, and strengthen alongside our furry friends —think squats with snuggles, planks with puppy kisses, and stretches with tail wags.

Flexible Pricing for a Purpose

Our puppy movement classes operate on a flexible pricing model to help make them accessible while supporting our rescue work.

Each Puppy Yoga class has a fundraising goal of $525, with a suggested donation of $35 per person. This is what it takes to keep these joyful events running and rescue more pups!

If you can give more, your generosity helps cover the cost for someone who may need to give a little less. If giving less helps you join us, we’re glad you’re here.

Every dollar helps us move closer to our goal and save more lives. Thanks for being part of this playful, powerful mission!

What to Expect

Puppy movement classes are typically held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, although the exact schedule may vary month to month based on puppies, events, and urgent needs. The schedule for the upcoming month is usually published about 1 month in advance.

Class announcements are shared on Instagram and through the Community Newsletter. Classes often fill within one to two weeks of being announced, so following us on social media or subscribing to our newsletter is the best way to stay updated.

Here are a few things to keep in mind for Puppy Yoga:

  • Participants must be 12 years or older to attend, and all participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Yoga mats are provided
  • You can arrive up to 15 minutes before the class start time (and play with the pups!)
  • For the safety of our staff and community, we will continue requiring masks be worn in our facility, and have some on hand if you need them.
  • Please wear comfortable clothes that you are not worried about getting dirty!
  • Come have fun with puppies!

Plan a Private Class

Looking for a unique team outing, birthday celebration, fundraiser, or special gathering? We love hosting private Puppy Yoga experiences! We currently offer two ways to book your group.

Option 1: Buy out a Published Class

Reserve all (or most) of the spots in one of our already scheduled public classes. This is a great option if you’re looking for something sooner or don’t need a completely private experience.

Option 2: Reserve a Private Class

Book one of our regularly scheduled class times exclusively for your group.

Private Puppy Yoga classes are typically available during our regular class schedule:

  • Wednesdays at 6:30 PM
  • Saturdays at 9:30 AM
  • Saturdays at 10:45 AM

Our schedule varies month to month based on puppy availability, events, and rescue needs, so you’ll need to email us to check upcoming availability. We rarely have the capacity to schedule classes outside of these times.

Group Size

We recommend groups of up to 15 participants. We can occasionally accommodate up to 17 participants, but it becomes a cozy experience.

Ages

Participants must be 12 years or older. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian nearby (within approximately five minutes of the class location). Guardians do not need to participate in class.

Suggested Donation

Private Puppy Yoga is a fundraiser that directly supports our rescue work and the programs we provide for our community.

  • Small businesses, nonprofits, and community groups: Suggested donation of $525 (approximately $35 per person for a group of 15)
  • Corporate and larger organizations: Suggested donation of $700

If your group is able to contribute more, every additional dollar helps us rescue and care for more puppies.

For everything else—including what to wear, arrival time, masks, and what to expect during class—please refer to the Public Class information above.
